Like virtually all old Jewish cemeteries in Ukraine and all over Eastern Europe, the remains of our ancestors in Dolina are not maintained in a respectful manner. There are few remaining tombstones. Tablet containing the first 5 Ten Commandments. Typically found above
the Aron Kodesh (Holy Ark), in a synagogue, symbolizing the tablets on
which the Ten Commandments were written. This tablet was probably
taken from the Dolina synagogue during the Holocaust and dumped in
the cemetery.
